Happy Monday, everyone!
Today we hit the ground running! The kids learned several new songs and played some pretty fun theatre games like Captain’s Coming and Poof Fishbowl! After lunch, they got to go to their designated classes where they were able to learn hip beats in bucket band, groovy dance moves in dance class, or funny tableu scenes in theatre class. The younger kids got to learn all about being “battle ready” by doing drills with the AAKP team. Dr. Danny was in charge of keeping a steady drum beat, but when he started speeding up the beat, the kids told him right away that he wasn’t following Sergeant Hannah’s directions! We had so much fun today with our first full day of camp! Can’t wait to see how much fun the kids will have throughout the week!
